"I don't know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future." Martin Luther King Jr.
Let Mr. Hazard guide your child through Social Studies 8; the history of the United States and New York from the Civil War to the present. This will be my 7th year here at Case Middle School. Each year I try to be more creative, and increase student engagement whenever possible. I graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2006, and earned my Masters degree from there as well. I married my best friend Bethany in July of 2007, and we welcomed our daughter Sydney into the world February 19th, 2011. I coach JV Boys Lacrosse here at Watertown, and have coached lax for 6 years now. Please never hesitate to contact me throughout the school year if you have any questions or concerns. Let's work together to make sure your child is successful in the upcoming school year!
Abraham Lincoln's work ethic:

3. Helped keep the Union together
during the Civil War.
*Lincoln taught us to never give up, and always work hard and take risks to achieve greatness. This is our class moto!

*When you're screwing up, and nobody is saying anything to you anymore, that means they gave up on you. ~Randy Pausch ...if I appear hard on anyone who is not doing the work that is expected of them, it's because I know they can do better, and it is my job to bring out the best in all of my students.
"Let us not seek the Republican answer, or the democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past.
Let us accept our own responsibility for the future."
~ John F. Kennedy.
"Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but rising every time we fall."
