Welcome to My Speech Site

My name is Susan Johnson and I will be providing Speech services this year at Case Middle School, Watertown High School, and Knickerbocker School. This year only students with Speech on their individual educational plan at the middle school and high school will receive services. At Knickerbocker School I will be providing Speech Improvement. I look forward to the wide range of my student population this year. If parents have questions they are encouraged to call their child's school and I will get back to them.

School Supplies:
Students at Case Middle School should arrive at Speech Class with their planners, paper and a pen. At Watertown High School most Speech services will be provided within the classroom setting. The most important thing for the students to bring with them is a will to work toward the improvement of their communication skills.

Policies:
Students who are able to report on their own for Speech Class are expected to report at a certain time. Speech will appear on their student schedule at Case Middle School.The Speech sessions are usually 30 minutes in duration. The number of times a student receives Speech services is based on their individual needs. Speech is offered in a small group setting for the most part.
