Homework will be given after a skill has been introduced and practiced. It is usually given Monday through Thursday unless there is a special circumstance. Agendas and Daily folders are to be taken home every night and brought back to school every day. Homework is due the next day unless noted. Parents should sign the agenda each night after noting that the homework has been completed. Homework will be written down each night for you to review.
*Homework not handed in on time will be completed during free time (recess). *When homework is not being completed consistently, we will come up with a plan to help your student be more successful in completing his/her homework.
Birthdays: Students may wish to bring in a small snack to share when it is their birthday. Please feel free to send in one if you wish. I do not allow students to pass out birthday party invitations in class unless there is one for everyone in the room (that way there are no hurt feelings).
Absences: Please send in a note for your child’s absence(s) as soon as possible after your child returns to school. If you know in advance that your child will be leaving early please call the school or send in a note. You may also email me if that is easier for you.
Contacting Me: Please visit this web page often for new things being added. I can be reached by phone (785-3750), note, or email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
