Welcome to Peachjar!
In an effort to streamline communication with our families, the Watertown City School District is pleased to announce that we will soon begin using the Peachjar digital flyer distribution system, a free online service for schools that delivers flyers to parents, faculty, and staff via email and on our web site, social media, and custom mobile app.
This green initiative is expected to save our schools tons of paper and reduce print production costs by thousands of dollars annually. By using Peachjar, the Watertown City School District will eliminate the need to print thousands of sheets of paper every year, ensuring our commitment to seek environmentally friendly systems, embrace innovative technology, and maintain fiscal responsibility.
How does it work?
School-approved digital flyers will be emailed directly to parents and guardians, who will be able to access them directly from their computer or mobile device. Additionally, all flyers will be accessible on each school’s website and/or via social media. Peachjar also manages flyer distribution and works directly with outside organizations.
How do I register to receive flyers?
As a convenience to parents and guardians, emails on file in our SchoolTool student information system will be used to set up Peachjar accounts. If parents and guardians do not have an email address on file, we will be sending a form home for them to complete, or contact the main office of your child's school to update your SchoolTool account information. Parents and guardians may also visit www.peachjar.com and click on the ‘sign up’ button to register.
Parents and guardians will receive a welcome email from Peachjar that includes a username and password. This is provided to give the opportunity to manage account and flyer delivery preferences. Parents do not need to log in to receive or view school flyers. School flyers can still be viewed on the district and school homepage by simply clicking on the Peachjar icon. Logging in is used to manage email delivery preferences.
If parents and guardians receive an email from Peachjar and do not wish to receive school notifications via email, they can simply hit ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of the Peachjar account invitation.
This system is used exclusively for the distribution of school-approved flyers. Your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose.

Want to submit a flyer?
The Watertown City School District occasionally receives flyers from outside organizations that wish to provide details about events and opportunities to our students, and we have in the past allowed such organizations to send flyers home to our students. Outside organizations will eventually be allowed to utilize our Peachjar system to do so in a limited capacity, and, as in the past with any printed flyers sent home, adhering to our Advertising Materials and Announcements Procedure and subject to District approval. Outside organizations will have to register an account with Peachjar and pay a nominal fee, comparable to typical printing and delivery costs, to utilize this system.
