My name is Susan Hoenninger and I am the Child Youth Behavioral Military and Family Life Counselor (CYB-MFLC) for the Watertown Central School District. I primarily provide services to Military children at Sherman, Starbuck, North Elementary schools and Wiley Intermediate school but am available to provide counseling services to any student in the district.
MFLCs are Master’s level skilled, fully licensed clinicians who provide brief non-medical solution focused counseling to all active duty service members and their dependents. Services provided are free and confidential, however, MFLCS are mandated reporters so we must report risk of harm to self and/or others, abuse or neglect, domestic violence and illegal behavior.
Currently, I am trying to arrange Military Kid’s Club groups, individual, family and couple’s counseling via Zoom telehealth sessions. Counseling and support are available for a variety of issues including stress and anger management, coping skills, conflict resolution, deployment, reintegration, relational issues (sibling, parent-child, couples) and grief and loss issues.
If interested, a consent form must be signed and returned to me.
If you should have any questions or would like to request a counseling session, please contact me at 315-704-9304.
