Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council

We are excited to continue the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council for the 2026-2027 School Year

Building on the progress and impact of past years, the council offers students a meaningful platform to engage in district decision-making and school improvement efforts. In the upcoming school year, student members will undertake a project focused on addressing a specific problem of practice within the district and provide mentoring support to their peers. Mentoring time will be tailored to meet the individual needs of each mentee.

Each monthly meeting will focus on discussions and actions related to the identified problem of practice, allowing students to collaborate, lead, and drive positive change throughout our schools.

We encourage students who demonstrate leadership, initiative, and a passion for making a difference to apply. Students currently serving on the council are also welcome to reapply and continue contributing their valuable insights.

While participation is voluntary, selected students are expected to attend monthly meetings and actively engage in all aspects of the work.
