Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council

Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council – 2025–2026 School Year
As we transition into the 2025–2026 school year, we are excited to continue the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council—a leadership opportunity for students in grades 7–12 across the Watertown City School District.

This council empowers students to:

  • Collaborate with peers to address a real-world problem of practice impacting our schools
  • Provide mentoring support to fellow students, with time adjusted based on individual needs

  • Share their voice directly with district leadership and advocate for meaningful change

Each monthly meeting focuses on student-led discussion and action around district improvement efforts. Students currently serving on the council are encouraged to reapply.

We invite students who demonstrate leadership, initiative, and a desire to make a difference to apply.

📌 To apply, students must complete the online application and submit a letter of reference from a teacher as part of the form.

🗓 Applications are due by June 26, 2025.

Let your voice be heard. Be a leader. Help shape the future of the Watertown City School District.
