WCSD Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council!
As we transition into the 2024-25 school year, we are thrilled to announce the continuation of our Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council initiative. Building upon the success of our inaugural year, students will have the opportunity to undertake a project aimed at addressing a specific problem of practice within our district. Additionally, they will provide mentoring support to their peers.
Each meeting of the Advisory Council will center around discussions and actions related to the identified problem of practice. Students will allocate time for mentoring based on the individual needs of their mentee.
We invite you to join us in this exciting initiative! As a member of the Student Advisory Council, you will collaborate with your fellow students to advocate for positive changes and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Watertown City School District, benefiting every student and family.
Current council members are also encouraged to apply for the upcoming year, bringing their valuable experience and insights to the continued success of the initiative.
Remember, the future of our district is shaped by the voices and insights of its students. To learn more about this incredible opportunity or to apply, please explore the tabs provided below. Your perspective is invaluable, and we eagerly anticipate hearing from you!
