Hello — I’m Ms. Smith, your Student Extracurricular Wellness Coach. I work with students involved in extracurricular activities to support their overall well‑being, help them manage challenges, and improve performance both in and out of school.
What is a Wellness Coach?
A Wellness Coach helps students build healthy habits, cope with stress, and reach personal and activity-related goals. My role includes providing tailored support, offering wellness programs, and teaching strategies for better focus, balance, and resilience. I listen without judgment and work with you to find practical steps you can try — whether the issue is related to school, home, friends, or anything else on your mind.
What I can help with:
-
Listening to concerns and offering one-on-one support
-
Teaching stress-management and study/organization skills
-
Creating short wellness plans to improve sleep, nutrition, or practice routines
-
Helping you set realistic goals for sport, arts, clubs, or academics
-
Connecting you with other school resources when additional help is needed
Where to find me & when:
I’m available during these times:
Room 106B — right next to the athletic office. I’m available Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Do I need an appointment?
You can email me at: zsmith@watertowncsd.org to schedule a meeting at a time that works for you, or you can stop by Room 106B to see if I’m available. Walk‑ins are welcome when I’m free, and scheduled appointments help ensure we have dedicated time to focus on you.
What to expect in a first visit:
In your first meeting we’ll talk about what’s on your mind, what you hope to change or improve, and what support feels most useful. Together we’ll set simple, achievable steps and check in on progress in later sessions.
If you’re involved in any extracurricular activity and want someone to talk with, problem‑solve, or plan with, I’m here to help. Stop by, send an email, or drop in after practice — I look forward to meeting
Thank you!
